Trans-Atlantic Baby

We leave for Europe in 1 week!  This trip will include, Paris, Costa del Mar Spain, Gibraltar, and Morocco.  Davis' passport came in (finally) and look how excited he is for the trip:

I, on the other hand, am very nervous about the flight.  Any tips for flying with a 10 week old???  I know about feeding him during take-off and landing, but no one has told me how to keep him quiet for 8+ hours.  I have a feeling I will be buying drinks for the people around us....thank goodness they are free on international flights.

  1. Ohmygoodness! Kristi, he is so yummy!! My biggest advice for a flight would be nursing AND wash your hands! Anything you touch that may carry germs will go straight to him. Hand rails and whatnot. If he takes a paci make sure you've got it on hand. Sounds like an amazing trip!

  2. Have fun, Kristi! Make sure he has the vaccinations recommended for leaving the country...people have yucky germs! Don't forget something for him to suck on so his ears can pop and adjust to the pressure change. Lots of moms nurse during the flight so baby is more comfy. Sending you lots of luck! Have a great time.

p.s. take some vitamins and air borne with you to help your immune system on the flight. Breathing recycled air = potential cold virus. Can you tell I'm afraid of germs?? :)
